Los Santos Police Department Hand Book
(( LSPD RULES ))
1. Always be on duty, ready for anything
2. Don't go undercover or in swat mode unless ordered to by Captain or Chief of Police.
3. Always use Police Vehicles (unless your undercover)
4. Don't steal any random vehicle you want
5. Don't drive other gangs cars
6. You may take out your weapon but don't fire it unless being ordered to fire.
7. Don't use a weapon you wouldn't get in the LSPD (AK47, Rocket launcher , etc.)
8. Don't beg for promotions, money, it gets super annoying
9. When using a police vehicle always remember to use your mega phone to talk to the car your in pursuit of.
10. When pulling a suspect over, don't park in the middle of the road
11. Always ask the suspect your talking to for his ID before you call him by his name
12. When frisking a suspect, tell him first
13. When taking away a suspects illegal items you may not take his materials
14. When giving a ticket to suspect don't over do it (Example: 15k for parking on bank stairs..)
15. When setting an arrest time limit don't set it for super high lengths, 1 hour is way! to long, be reasonable
16. Don't mod cars
17. Don't use NOS. If you see a suspect using it, pull him over
18. When flying the LSPD chopper don't land it where ever you feel like it
19. If your waiting on a test/exam/ride along don't beg, just wait till i have free time and i will take you
20. Cadets must ride with a higher rank at all times
21. Don't spam talk
22. If you get a prank 911 call, please look into it and fine the suspect
23. DON'T ABUSE YOUR POWER AS A POLICE OFFICER!
((POLICE COMMANDS))
/me - used by all players, must use for every thing you do [/me pulls out tazer][once pulled out you may fire your tazer]
/r – This is the police radio. Used for general chatter [vent is used for dispatch/important messages].
/d – This is the Departmental channel and goes to all law enforcement agencies – LSPD, FBI and NG.
/m – When in a vehicle, you can use the megaphone to send a message to a wide area around you. Use this for traffic stops, crowd control situations, pulling over a suspect.
/wanted – This will display the names and wanted levels of the most wanted people on the server.
/mdc – Your mobile data computer will list any complaints or actual charges against a person.
/su – One of the more well used commands. This will add a wanted level onto someone. You must use a crime from the list when /suing someone. You must also /su someone at the soonest possible moment after they've committed a crime. DO NOT METAGAME, for example if you don't have suspects ID you cannot /su him or if they have killed you, you cannot /su.
/tazer – This will freezes someone in place for a few seconds allowing you to cuff them.
/cuff – This will cuff a person who is tazed .
/frisk - This will reveal any illegal items/materials or other substances people have.
/leofrisk – This will reveal any illegal items/materials or other substances people have items automatically.
/take – Weapons, drugs. This removes whatever you specified from that person.
/detain – This will put someone in the back seat of the last car you drove [provided you’re close to it]. From this state, you’ve 5 minutes to drive the criminal to the station and arrest them. (/detain <player id> <seat id>. )
/drag - This will grab the person you want [it's RP, grab him then detain. It's like you threw him in the car]
/arrest - This will Arrest the suspect inside the PD/FBI or at an arrest point for the price and time you want .
/gov <message> - For gov. news announcement only.
/d <message> -Used to speak globally with other legal factions .
/gate - Used to control both gates of the police department. Close the gate immediately after opening it and entering the garage to avoid infraction strikes.
/ticket <name/ID> <price> <crime> - Ability to fine other players for minor smaller crimes. Only to be used with minor crimes and minoe crimes only, generally never exceeding $6,000.
(( Laws of San Andreas ))
The laws of San Andreas are warrents in which you can issue to a suspect. Please take note not to "Stack," charges, or charge a suspect with similiar charges. Examples can include suspecting someone for both Assault & Battery and Armed Assault.
Misdemeanor crimes => The police officer may ONLY ticket for such crimes. You will be charged for ten (10) minutes for every misdemeanor crime you commit.
Felony crimes => The police officer may ONLY arrest for such crimes. You will be charged for fifteen (15) minutes for every felony crime you commit.
Illegal Parking: Illegally parking your vehicle on the road, sidewalk, government property, or just plane not aparking area.

Corruption within the department will not be tolerated under any circumstances. You will be discharged and possibly arrested in the name of the law.
